So where did you go this long weekend?

Did you
travel to your province? Stay at home? Went to hongkong?

Did you visit the cemetery this "araw ng patay?".

This is the time of the year when people flock to the bus terminals and flee the city. This is also the time for the tradition of people to visit their dead relatives and of course watch the ever popular "magandang gabi bayan" and their scary episodes.

But I just hope you guys pray for your deceased relatives and remember that it is not just a long holiday. Its a time to remember them and the memories you shared with them when they were alive.

Internet Profits Site

Today, I'm working on a new content rich site called internet profit. Actually there will be lots of articles about business, search engine optimization, and a whole lot of others.

This is a new CMS i've implemented. Hopefully it will be a good site for visitors and hope it'll be sticky.

I've used different CMS softwares before such as phpnuke, postnuke and I'm trying out a new one called Joomla. The creators of joomla are actually some of the programmers in Mambo CMS. I haven't researched about it yet but there seems to be a reason why they pulled out from the mambo project.

Pinoy Big Brother

Its a long weekend for us. This means more time to watch the every popular pinoy big brother. If you don't know yet, pinoy big brother is a reality TV about 12 housemates all trapped in one house.

They don't have any communication outside such as telephone, cphone, tv, radio. All they could talk to is the 'owner' of the house which they call, " big brother ".

This funny, crazy, lovable, and quite nice show is from endemol. Pinoy big brother is actually a pinoy version of the tv reality show big brother which is from another country.

Pinoy big brother housemates are say alonzo, chx alcala, uma khouny, jb magsaysay, cass ponti, jenny suico, jason, franzen, bob, nene, rico, and the newcomer sam milby.

Hurricane

Im just wondering. Just this year, there are massive hurricane which resulted to massive damages.

I don't recall having such string of hurricanes in the past years. Could it be some el nino thing going on.

But anyways, I hope these hurricanes stop as a lot of people are suffering, without homes, and sometimes, without work.

It seems that the show is now concentrating on giving tasks which the housemates can learn something.
Probably that is the show's response to MTRCB.

Toyota Car - Honda Car

I'd like to make a comparison on our 2 cars. One is a
toyota car, and the other is a honda car. To be speficis, on is toyota revo, and the other is Honda SIR.

The Honda SIR has more car muscle then the Revo, even though it is a used car when we bought it.

Both have their own differnt advantages and disadvantages. Depending on use, for long trips, the Revo is preferred. For travels that require speed and sporty look, the SIR.

I'd like the next car to be a Toyota Fortuner.

Boracay Philippines - Planning

I've been to boracay once. It was 1998 and its been a couple of years now since that time.

I've heard that there were lots of changes since the last time we went to boracay philippines. I remember staying at the boracay terraces.

Now its time to plan and have an early booking so as to get a good hotel in boracay.

Travel to bohol

Last summer, I was able to travel to bohol. We were able to visit the tarsier near the loboc river.

After bohol, we were able to visit camiguin. Very nice place. Toured the island and went swimming in this white piece of island a few hundred meters from shore.

Then went to cagayan de oro. Visit the relatives, eat lechon. And visit the dole plantation.

Very nice trip. You should try it sometime.

Used Car

I was looking for some users cars lately because I would like to upgrade my car which was purchased late 90s.

Personally I would like a used car to save some money and buy a bigger SUV. An old model that is, but that would be good enough.

Then I need to find a financial institution for car loan I would like a reasonable monthly amortization for that.

I'm also looking at car auctions I've heard that you can get really great bargains on auctions specially if only a few are interested on a specific car.

But you know what I really want to have if money is not an option? I want a hybrid car. One car I would like is the Toyota Prius if I remember it right. But I know there is also a honda green car with hybrid functionality.
